Other than that, it was a great story, written so well, with a wonderfully adept use of language. It wan't until I read the USA reviews of this book that I realised it is Sandra Harris's debut novel. The questions were simple, but not so simple that it didn't require thought. good story, but no ending.

The entirety is a multifaceted view of a complex issue. Here, the role of the black monolith is played by a final rainbow, transcending the endless winter.
