The author has battled weight herself over the years, and clearly GETS IT. Included was a little back biting before the "Kiss". Blessings to all who read this review. It is a tale that brilliantly demonstrates how our linkage to the world of animals has the capacity to heal and in the process, to make us more humane. Allen's storytelling. Of course when you see it online it looks like a normal book. Numerous pieces presented here have rarely or never been seen in print.
