I checked this book out of our local library to read to my daughter. Vegas sounds like such a brilliant place and Fox describes it well. This is by far the densest book of the series and as magic plays a greater role more careful reading is necessary, but she has always been a dense writer. I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. Fourteen-year-old Kiyo, an arrogant genius who is teased mercilessly at school, is given a strange boy, Zatch Bell, for his birthday to help him make friends, but Zatch turns out to have strange powers that change Kiyo's life forever. Anything that deals with old world deities and is written well always hooks me from the get go.
