He's the guy in the yearbook no one remembers, the dude at work you walk by without noticing, the cousin who still sleeps in your aunt's basement, the brother of your best friend that you can never remember the name of, the driver of the broken down heap blocking the intersection, the guy who works in the back or the basement or whatever. I just finished this book, and I agree that it is a good story. I was immediately drawn to it. Even the social worker can't get through because the phone has been disconnected. Whatever happened to poetry.
